Music has always been more than music to me.It kept my head above water through some of the darkest periods of my life.Sometimes I didn't have the answers, but I had a song, a chord or a beat.Music helped me keep going, and I want to create things that can mean something to other people in the same way.
The name stays out of it — anonymous-rsa, not a real name — so the music doesn't have to compete with anything. No image to maintain, nothing to perform. Just the room where it gets made, the work, and whoever it finds.
It doesn't stay in one lane because soul doesn't either. A song starts as a riff, a loop, a chord that felt like the right question — and I follow it wherever it actually wants to go, whether that's a guitar or a drum machine. Neo soul one week, R&B the next, soulful deep house running underneath most of it. The through-line was never the genre. It was always the feeling.
Some of what's here is for sale. Some of it is free, given away because it deserved to exist outside a paywall. Both matter the same amount to me — this is just an archive of what got made and why.
