Mr. Sax Man

Mr. Sax Man is a groove built around the sound of a saxophone and the memories that come with it. It was inspired by a friend of mine who plays sax and is currently in Spain, doing gigs and building his own life through music. We don't speak as much as we used to, but I'm genuinely proud of where he's gone and what he's doing. There's something about hearing a saxophone cut through a groove that makes me think about the people I've made music with, the places we've been, and how everyone eventually finds their own road. This one's a little nod to my friend — wherever he is, wherever the music takes him. Sometimes a groove is just a groove. Sometimes it reminds you of someone.
